About

Psycho Crusher is Kris Escobar's video game music project, born in Santiago in 2010 as the thesis concert for his music degree. The plan: walk through game history, starting with Pong, and play every theme as if it were a rock song.

Two albums followed, Psycho Crusher (2011) and Avocado Overdose (2015), plus the 2023 single MaxX Unlimited and tracks for OC ReMix and Materia Collective compilations. In 2012 Tommy Tallarico invited him to Video Games Live at Teatro Caupolicán, and festival stages across Chile came after.

These days it runs at its own pace, which means new music when there's time to make it. Shows, too, if the stage is right.
